How can I start hiring?

If you’ve not hired from us before, there will be a few formalities. We’ll need a proof of identity. Sometimes we’ll ask to take your photo. When you want to hire tools, we’ll ask you for a deposit, usually payable by cash or credit card - the branch staff will explain what’s required.

How do I open an account?

We’ll arrange your account quickly, with the minimum of formalities.

Do I have to pay a deposit?

If you do not have an account, we’ll ask you for a deposit, usually equivalent to about 2 weeks’ hire (or a minimum of £10). It’s very easy and straightforward: you can pay cash, cheque or we’ll “swipe” your credit or debit card for the deposit, and then balance the payment when you return the equipment.

Can I hire for a sunday?

If you’re working at home or have a working weekend ahead of you, think of hiring equipment for Sunday only - your local depot may be able to give you a special rate. Equipment for Sunday hires must be collected by noon on Saturday and returned by 9am on the following Monday.

Does Brandon deliver?

All our branches have transportation facilities for delivery and collection of the equipment shown in this catalogue. Please ask for details of charge.
