How-To Strip Wallpaper

This is a time-consuming job, but with the correct methods it is reasonably straightforward. A steam wallpaper stripper, which can be hired quite cheaply, speeds up the process. When using it, always wear rubber gloves and goggles as boiling water and steam can spit out from the sides of the stripping pad. If a steam stripper is not available, soak the paper with hot water or use a stripping-tablet solution instead. Gloves and goggles are still required as most stripping chemicals will irritate the skin.
