New Customers

Opening an account with Brandon Hire will bring you many benefits - not only giving you complete flexibility in managing your finances but also access to over 1,000 products for hire. You can run your account more efficiently via your on-line business service.

Opening an Acount

Opening an account is simple and gives you complete control of your finances. Call your local branch on 0870 514 3391 who can help you open an account quickly.


If you do not have an account, we’ll ask you for a deposit, usually equivalent to about 2 weeks hire. It’s very easy and straightforward: you can pay cash, cheque or we’ll ‘swipe’ your credit or debit card for the deposit, and then balance the payment when you return the equipment.

Sunday Hires

If you’re working at home, planning a working weekend or thinking of hiring equipment for Sunday only – your local branch may be able to give you a special rate. Equipment for Sunday hires must be collected by noon on Saturday and returned by 9am on the following Monday.


We can deliver to site or office for your convenience. Please contact your nearest branch for delivery charges.

Terms and Conditions

Full details of the conditions for equipment hire can be found on all our hire contracts and are sent to all trade account customers when they open their accounts.

Hire Periods – Definitions

At Brandon Hire we’re flexible to suit your needs.‘One day’ means up to 24 hours (so you can be working across 2 days), 2 days means 48 hours and 7 days means any complete period of 7 days including weekends and public holidays.


A cleaning charge will be levied if equipment is returned dirty.

Sale or Return

It’s important to have enough accessories and consumables ready while you’re working, but you don’t want to buy more than you need. So Brandon Hire will provide you with them on a sale or return basis. You won’t be charged for items you don’t use.


When you return equipment, whether in person or for collection, you will be given a unique off-hire number. To help us off-hire your equipment as quickly as possible you will be asked to quote this number reference, so please keep safe.


Prices in this catalogue do NOT include VAT, which is payable in addition. E&OE.

Advanced Booking

Every Brandon Hire branch carries large stocks and most products, even unusual ones are readily available. It’s easy to reserve equipment in advance. Simply call your local branch or call 0870 514 3391 to be in touch with your closest Brandon Hire branch.

Damage Waiver – Peace of Mind?

Accidents can happen. For example, if a brick accidentally fell on equipment you’d hired, that could cause a costly repair which you would be liable for. Many customers like to take out our damage waiver cover – it costs little (just 15% of the hire cost) but covers you against any charges for damage occurring and repairs incurred during normal use of the equipment.

Please note:

Wilful damage or neglect as specified by Brandon Hire is not covered in the damage waiver and will be charged to the hirer. The damage waiver does not include consumables such as blades, drill bits or accessories.
